This is news that happened over the summer, but still worth sharing.  One of my entries in Splash 27, The Best of Watercolor, was chosen as a finalist and printed in the annual magazine. 

This issue is currently still on newsstands, or you can find it online, here.

It is an honour to have my painting included with the other very fine paintings in this edition.  Also pictured here are paintings by Del Strong, Boulder Beach, on the left, and Evgenia Belyaeva-Cordie, Reviving, lower right.

It was one of those paintings that did not come easily and it took several iterations before I got one I was happy with.  Evidence suggests that my persistence paid off.
