Weir Silhouette

I arrived at the weir at low tide, in the evening.  Sunlight lay low across the water, wet rocks and mud, glistening brightly.  The contrast of the horizontal bands of light with the tall weir stakes and translucent netting made a striking subject.   Tire tracks on the shore in the foreground tell the tale of fishermen who had already visited the weir that day to check the catch.
