I recently had the opportunity to view the Voiles de St Tropez sailing regatta in St Tropez, France. There were over 250 ships in the regatta as well as many more in the area. I most of all enjoyed the classic class of boats, with their wooden rigging and shining white sails. I’ve been exploring these boats in a series of small oil paintings.
