I painted this at Baxter Harbour Falls. It was my first visit to the Falls and I was instantly smitten with this boat. Turns out I was lucky, as this boat is not often left here on the shore. It made for a perfect composition with the bright light highlighting the boat and the falls just emerging from shadow in the background.
