Soft Light to Begin the Day

The light in the morning on the River fascinated me.  I am usually in a climate that is shaped by being very close to the sea and has hills keeping the view fairly immediate.  Here we were miles and miles inland and the landscape was predominantly flat.  I could see a long way. This, along with the humidity of hot weather on a big river made for intriguing atmosphere.  I wanted to capture it here,  how the green of the opposite shore shifts from a warm yellow green to progressively cooler greens as the landscape receded away from me.  The margin of land and sky was a soft line, distant hills melting into the softly coloured early morning sky.
