I painted this scene in the studio after a recent trip to NYC. I just love the bridges in Central Park, both walking over them and through the passage beneath them. I liked the way the road swept toward this one, under the branches of a flowering tree. I wanted to paint on location but there was no where reasonable to set up and paint, so I had to wait until I got home.
