The large tumbled boulders at the end of Sand Beach at Acadia National Park are pink granite and their rounded weather shapes gleamed in the hazy light on the day I was there. It was a pleasure to sketch these as other visitors scrambled all over them.
This sketch is on hold as I use it as reference for a studio painting (or two) of Sand Beach.
