Pendlebury Light

Pendlebury Light by Poppy Balser, Watercolor, 7 x 10

Watercolor on Paper
7 x 10
Sold

The St Andrews Lighthouse is known locally as the Pendlebury Light, named for the family who tended it for over 100 year.  It has been a landmark in St Andrews since 1836.  It spent the 1960's through the '80's as decoration of a restaurant but now has been lovingly restored in it's prior location.

This is the daily painting for November 14, 2013.  (37 of 60)

It measures 7 x 10".  It was painted not strictly "en plein air" but was painted by direct observation, as I stood at the window looking out into the apple orchard.

It is available for the next 24 hours for $170.  After that the price will go up to $285.

It is packaged with an acid free mat and foamcore.  Shipping is included within North America.  You may buy this painting directly on this page by clicking the "Buy Now" button above or contact via the "contact the artist about this artwork" link found on this page.
